Desi Masti was recently invited by Leicester’s Performing Arts Centre, Curve, to perform for Her Majesty, The Queen, when she visited Leicester on the 4th of December 2008.

Desi Masti dancers Subhash, Reeya, Sharena, Kaajel, Mayuri and Hema were lead by Aakash Odedra in presenting dance piece ‘Flight’ to Her Majesty and the Duke of Edinburgh as part of her tour of the landmark new theatre.

The Duke of Edinburgh approached the dancers at the end of the performance and spoke to Aakash about how impressed he was with the choreography and performance.
